The Siege

I was seated in my house that early morning, taking that early morning precautionary drill, channelling all thoughts to one direction. I literally became a unidirectional fuse plugged in the deep chronological sequenced concept, that I was trying to relay and fathom in my head. It was in the midst of all this, that the sudden calmness and demeanor came over me, @ first I thought could the reality of life be this real? Looking @ whole existence of man, are we living for ourselves or are we living for others? I weighed it all in my mind, then suddenly I felt there's more. Yeah, there is more that we can attain, there's more glory we can share, we shouldn't just let the whole shenanigan pass us by, live a life that's worth it. Is this really a fact? Or is it charade of my own mind? Wait it must be facade, critical examination it is a mirage. Because, is there anything good whatsoever that one can garner from this life? Why is it so loathsome to desire a thing & get ano...

WHO WILL BELL THE CART? (3) For how long are we going to stand and stir? Do we keep quiet and let the opinions of others lead us? We are Nigerians, we have our rights let's stand up to what is wrong, and tell the truth just the it is. When things are wrong, let's speak up; let's not hide and keep quiet. We have to come out of our shells and make the government realize the plights of innocent citizens, who are being treated with disdain, many cannot afford the three square meals, many are languishing innocently in Nigerian prisons, a lot are on the streets jobless scampering for what to eat daily, yet there is someone sitting in an air-conditioned office, riding a Lamborghini, and doesn't even look at these poor ones. Hmm!!!!!!! Let's wake up my people, let's look at these painful issues that befall our country. Change begins with me as well as it does with you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE MAN ON A MISSION Everyone is quick to judge others and blame them for mistakes that is quite imminent is caused by their own faults and negligence, we blame others to show that we are right or that we know what we are doing, but truth be told, who are we fooling? A good man is one who accepts the fact that he is wrong when his wrong and takes to correction without fail. A once knew a man who did strive to make a difference in his country, he came out to proof that good deeds can be done even in a pervert community. He was in prison for twenty-seven good years, suffered for the cause of his people and ensured that the right thing was done. He stood strong against the opposition, a man of good words and good character. This man fought for what was right and was lauded by the entire world as a man of principle, diligent, forthright, a man of integrity and upright in all doings. Madiba as his fondly called is a Man on a mission . A man like that is needed in this country to make ...

Today is Sunday May 11th 2014…..exactly 26 days after over 200 of our daughters in Chibok, Borno State, were abducted by Boko Haram insurgents. Twenty six days later, we neither know where they are nor are we any close to knowing it, going by available information. Yet, 11 more girls have been abducted in Warabe. Since 2009, when Boko Haram launched its terror campaign, thousands of our citizens have either been killed or maimed, while the economic and social activities in a whole section of the country have been paralyzed. Since January 2014, Boko Haram has killed over 1,500 people, mostly civilians, and that figure does not include th...
